Meconopsis Stewart Annand
Product Details

Leaves emerge very early in the season, they are covered with deep brown bristles while young but become less visible as the leaf matures. Leaves are lance shaped and covered variably with brown bristles. The flowers are held on rigid stems which carry few leaves. Each stem holds several flowers each, the flowers facing outwards and slightly downwards. Colour is a rich intense blue, not often seen in the garden. Highly recommended.

This, along with Lingholm has to be the easiest Meconopsis to grow. It will tolerate conditions which aren't quite correct and still come back each year. We're just over the Scottish border on the east coast and we grow it in full sun, as long as the roots are moist it's fine.
