A new selection (actually a species) which was collected from China where Dan Hinkley made the discovery. The foliage is more blue than flexuosa and a little more coarse, held on the usual rigid stems but to a height of around 20 cms or so. Flowers are richer blue, just as numerous and with that strong scent from flexuosa. A good plant worthy of a spot in anyone's garden. Best in a brighter spot than most other Corydalis.
Corydalis curviflora subsp. rosthornii Blue Heron if you want it's full name!
