A fabulous and easy plant to grow anywhere in the garden, as long as it isn't too hot and dry. Deep green fresh, deeply dissected leaves are present from early spring until late autumn and form mounds of growth from which rise the solitary flowers. These are the usual Viola type in shape and on a good sized plant huge numbers are produced as soon as the last frosts of spring are past. Flower colour is generally purple-pink and a fabulous sweet scent is also present.
