A good subject for troughs or for growing over walls with its evergreen trifoliate leaves. These are covered with fine white hairs giving a silvery appearance over the mid green foliage. Flowers are typically five petalled, cerise pink towards the centre of the flower and paleing at the outer edges with strong pink anthers.
Similar in the flower to Potentilla nitida Rubra but with foliage similar to Potentilla nevadensis, tending to make clumps rather than mats.
