This really is a superb little plant for the rock garden or raised bed. Pale silvery lance shaped leaves emerge in early spring forming tufts of growth from which rise the flower spikes. The flowers are held on rigid stems and tend to arch over as the flowers emerge. Colour is soft powder-blue, each is about 1cm wide and many are produced per stem.
