Foliage is pale green on compact trailing stems radiating from a central point when young. They produce many offsets and root from trailing stems which is a good means of propagation by simply lifting and replanting as they form.
A very late flowering German hybrid, the flowers are trumpet shaped with a wide open mouth often as wide as tall, colour is strong very deep electric blue but with fine white lines in the bottom of the throat and greenish spotting also. Quite a strong growing hybrid which multiplies well. We would recommend a position in full sun with plenty of moisture and acid soil for these plants to thrive.
